Remembering the Past doesn’t Change the Future

Leaving things behind us has been great challenge to humans. A painful past brings sad memories while a beautiful past brings smiles and an attitude of achievement. Most people allow the past longer in their hearts so much it affects their present and even the future.

Remembering the past doesn’t change the future, rather the past should be used as a lesson learnt to improve the present and the future. Remembering a bad past only stagnates a person preventing one from moving forward and crippling further development.

Our past should stay in the past because that’s where it belongs and our future should be aimed at because that is where we can be champions and conquerors of our past.
“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment”-Buddha
