Living a Good Life

Life as we all see it a times may be difficult and sometimes good. But there are certain strategies in achieving to live a good life. Identified here are five strategies.

  1. Love Yourself – waking up in the morning and staring at your image in the mirror, listing five nice things you can see will make you smile and fall in love with yourself.
  2. Forget your worries – living with a terminal illness or a pain in the body or a scar which may be physical or emotional; dump them in the waste bin and live life like it’s your last day on earth. Notice the flowers how they beam, make music from the sounds around you and breathe in the freshness of the air.
  3. Do something you love – it could be playing a game, dancing to some music, spending time with a funny friend, eating out. Just take the step to do something that gives you satisfaction without hurting anyone.
  4. Spend time with nature – there is nothing on this planet as satisfying as spending time with nature. It could be walking barefoot by the beach, swimming, climbing trees, walking on wet grass and playing with pets. These acts give us a good feeling towards life.
  5. Be grateful and count your blessings – being grateful creates room for more blessings to come our way. So be thankful for what you do have and for what you don’t have.
