We all strive for survival
But darkness is everywhere
It creeps upon us like a shadow
Watching our every move
Determining when to strike,
How to strike,
Whom to strike.
We remain vigilant
Escaping the claws of darkness
But how long will this continue?
How long will we remain unsafe?
