Poem for the Day - Dark Day

The sun ceased to shine
Though it was sunrise
The day seemed to whine
Like no other day ever
‘twas like judgment day
But without the trumpets
And saints were still present
To witness this dark day
With sinners like we
But no one panicked
Everyone was at ease
On this very dark day
When it was as such
A natural occurrence
An eclipse I presume
But the dark day
Thus lasted but a few hours
Until the blessed sun appeared
And all but forgot the dark day.
