A friend struck by a disease as a child had to
learn to move slower than his friends and family. Living with crouches like he
was born with it made life unbearable but Phil was always thankful he had
friends like me in his life. He was happier than I was, friendlier than I was
and even more ambitious.
I wonder why able people find it hard to be
thankful at all times but people with disabilities are more grateful than we
are. Phillip came to live with his situation though he could not do anything
about it, he taught us all something very important in life-be thankful in all
situations.
