The name of Joan is still significant in Western
civilization. Joan was regarded as a Saint mainly because she received visions
from God on actions to be taken.
Considering Joan of Arc our hero of the day, she achieved
victory for her country France
by turning the war around; saving her country from being taken over by the
English; Joan was courageous and determined even at the point of death.
