Hero of the Day - Giorgio Perlasca

An Italian soldier and fighter in the East of Africa as well as the Spanish Civil War, Giorgio Perlasca was known as a man of valor.

Popularly known as the man who saved thousands of Jews from the Nazis; he is seen as an achiever by risking his life by posing as a Spanish diplomat to save Hungarian Jews. He was also loved by the people because he thought of them first before his own interests.
