Betty Bigombe a Ugandan remarkable woman who was tasked with
convincing the rebels to lay down their arms. This was due to the failure of
the military to carry out this task.
Betty Bigombe made all efforts to end violence and she
constantly advocates for peace in her country. She is highly respected among
other women and her people.
