Pa Joe had
lived a long healthy life; he had witnessed the births of all his children,
grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had lost his wife, friends and
acquaintances. Not because they were ill or died in accidents, but because they
were too old to live much longer.
Pa Joe knew
he had too long a life; his sight was sharp, his heart healthy, but he knew he
lived too long. Since his great grandchild was having a baby.
