Dean was
going to fire Fred after the holidays. The company had decided he was no longer
an asset. But little did Dean know his employee too had plans to leave.
Fred was
summoned to the management meeting with his termination letter prepared. There
was a grin on Dean’s face, but just as the meeting was getting towards Fred’s
dismissal, the fire alarm sounded. The meeting was adjourned to Dean’s
annoyance.
The next day,
Fred presented his resignation letter to Dean; he had been offered a job
abroad, his insurance after Christmas.
