As dark as life is
So are our struggles
We aim to survive
Swimming through the waves of distress
But without hope
Or one as tiny as a grain of sand
We know we can survive
We know we will survive
But when is the question
All struggles last a while
Then we overcome
To face another someday
And we do overcome them all
