Protective Love

An over-expression of concern to someone we care for is described as protective love. This is mostly practiced between children and parents, friends, spouses, siblings and guardians.

Protective love can be described as ‘blind love’ a times; this is because most times the feeling of love blinds a person from seeking the truth. Protective love defends lies, shields the truth from the law and manipulates the truth.

Protective love is not true love, for true love reveals the truth and corrects all wrong without manipulation and over-protection.
