Buried Secret continued...
Steve had begun to realize he had made a mistake by marrying
Vivian. She had used him to climb the corporate ladder and now she had no use
for him. She was rarely home, they barely made conversation and she seemed to
be bored with him and the kids. Steve thought of reaching out to Maggie but was
ashamed. He scribbled notes without delivering them, dialed her number without
putting the call through and even drove past her house without stopping. He was
sick of life. Things turned around so fast it came as a shock to all.
