Vesak

This is the remembrance of Buddha’s birthday commonly celebrated in Taiwan and Hong Kong and most Asian countries on the 28th of April. It is a significant holiday as it commemorates the peace to mankind.
Vesak focuses on the birth of Buddha, the eight precepts and the enlightenment. This holiday is a very solemn one for Buddhists who focus on giving to charity, meditation as well as partaking in vegetarian foods.
Please contribute if you are a Buddhist so we can learn more about the Vesak Holiday.
