Soccer

Soccer had always been his life, a secret life he loved to be in, a world he lived where happiness was the only theme that existed there. But soon enough, his dreams, his world, his happiness was shattered with the turning around of the world. There were no promotions and gradually, life deviated to a whole new different career. But soccer would never be forgotten to him. As faithful as a Priest to a sinner, so he stayed faithful to soccer, closely watching, analyzing, imagining and hoping one day, someday, the world would turn back to rescue him from the unhappiness it had put him into.
Soccer did not mean advertisements, money or fame to him; it meant a world of contentment and happiness, doing what he really loved and would love him in return. Soccer was a big dream he hoped someday would achieve if not in this life time, in another to come; a promise to himself-all for the love of soccer.
