The Glass Slipper

She thought the glass slipper was hers but she was soon to realize it was not. He had searched for the one whom the glass slipper would fit. He had made some mistakes along the way but was soon to find out it belonged to one whom had been through disappointments like he had. It took so many years to finally get the slipper to fit but it was worth the wait.

It is always worth the wait when the glass slipper fits the right person.

Overcoming Cancer

Gabe dropped his keys on the table and sat for a long time in the dark; he was too young to die was all he could think of. He could not believe he was diagnosed with cancer. He had to fight it the herbal way. That night, Gabe walked down to the fruit market and purchased a basket of sour sop.  He blended out the fleshy insides and scooped it up for dinner.
