Lost at Christmas

It had been raining; there had been no word from Mary. Her family was not expecting her but she was driving home for Christmas; it was over five hours drive and the road was dangerous. Mary decided to take a shortcut which got her lost and she could not find her way through the storm.
Mary began to panic, her surprise would turn to her sorrow. But that would not happen. A truck driver was parked nearby, allowing the storm pass. He offered to help her after the storm and Mary was home to surprise her family; keeping her secret of getting lost at Christmas.
