Hero of the Day - Oscar Romero

Archbishop Romero was a selfless man of El Salvador who took the peoples struggle personally. He served as a light and source of hope for the challenged of his country.

Oscar Romero lived to struggle to overcome oppression and poverty; he was a symbol of courage and justice and became a martyr for what he stood for.
