They blossomed and bloomed
Summer was their favorite
They cherished the wind
Adored the sun
Idolized the rainfall
It all made them merry.
And when the children came
They picked at them
For they were all so pretty
And stood beautifully.
Elegantly at weddings
They all knew their worth
So beautifully created
Are the lavender.
