As old as a clock

So is our love

As grand as a piano

So has our love been

As incompatible as black and white

So has been our love

As hard as iron

So have we experienced love

As determined as ants

So is our love

As competitive as athletes

So we have strived in love

As patient as vultures

So has our love matured.
